Yetunde is a safe, respectful community for adults (18+) seeking real connections. To protect everyone, we have clear rules. By joining Yetunde, you agree to follow them.
Breaking these rules can lead to warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity. In the most serious cases, we may report activity to law enforcement.
Zero Tolerance Violations (Permanent Ban)
These result in immediate and permanent removal:
- Minors on the platform: Yetunde is strictly 18+. Borrowed or fake IDs, or admitting you are under 18, leads to an instant ban.
- Exploitation & Sextortion: Attempting to extort sexual images/videos, share someone else's intimate content (NCII), or engage in sex trafficking.
- Fraud & Scams: Romance scams, catfishing for money, or other financial deception.
- Severe Impersonation: Pretending to be Yetunde staff, verified users, or using fake badges/handles to mislead.
Serious Violations (Suspension or Ban)
These may result in temporary suspension (days to weeks) or a ban for repeat/severe cases:
- Harassment: Unwanted sexual comments, repeated advances after rejection, or stalking behavior.
- Impersonation: Pretending to be another user (without fraud intent).
- Hate Speech & Abuse: Racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise abusive language.
- Dangerous Content: Threats of violence or encouraging self-harm/suicide.
Other Rule Violations (Warning then Suspension)
These may first get a warning, but repeated behavior escalates to suspension/ban:
- Crude Sexual Behavior: Inappropriate flirting that crosses into harassment.
- Spam & Unsolicited Content: Mass messaging, posting irrelevant links, or flooding chats.
- Inappropriate Media: Uploading offensive images, violent content, or fake photos.
Respect for Our Cultural Community
Yetunde exists to provide a safe, focused space for the Yoruba community. To protect that purpose:
- Preserving the mission: Profiles that mock, disrupt, exploit, or actively disrespect Yoruba culture, language, or traditions will not be tolerated.
- Reporting and moderation: Members can report accounts that are disruptive to the community experience or that clearly misrepresent their alignment with the platform's cultural focus.
- Right to remove: We review reported profiles and reserve the right to permanently remove accounts that intentionally disrupt the platform's cultural matching purpose, troll, or refuse to engage respectfully with the community's cultural focus.
Our Approach to Enforcement
- Warning: For first-time or less severe issues.
- Temporary Suspension: Days or weeks depending on seriousness.
- Permanent Ban: For severe or repeated violations.
We preserve evidence of serious violations (fraud, exploitation, minors) to protect victims and cooperate with authorities if necessary.
Safety Tips for You

- If you feel unsafe, block the user immediately and let us know.
Reminder: Your safety comes first. Yetunde's team takes reports seriously and acts quickly, but we also rely on the community to help keep the space safe.
