How do I create an account?
Download the app, sign up with your email, and complete Age & ID Verification to unlock the app.
How do I edit my profile?
Open Profile → Edit to update photos, bio, interests, and preferences.
Can I change my name or age?
You can change your display name. Age is tied to your verified ID and can’t be edited.
1. Why do you ask for my ID and selfie?
Yetunde is strictly for users who are 18 or older. We ask for a photo of your ID and a selfie so we can check that:
Your date of birth shows you are 18+; and
The face on the ID matches your selfie.
This helps reduce fake profiles, underage accounts, and fraud, and keeps the community safer.
2. What exactly do you collect for verification?
Depending on your situation, we may ask for:
A photo of a government-issued ID (e.g. NIN/NIMC card, passport, or other national/state ID that shows your name, photo, and date of birth)
A selfie (your face)
Sometimes, a selfie holding your ID close to your face, so both are visible
We also use the date of birth and basic profile details you entered during sign-up, plus technical information about whether the verification passed or failed.
3. What happens if the system can’t read my Nigerian ID properly?
Some IDs (especially Nigerian IDs) can be hard for our automated systems to read, for example when the date of birth overlaps with security patterns or shadows.
If that happens, and you’re eligible, the app may offer a manual review. This means a trained member of our team will securely review:
Your ID photo
Your selfie
And, if needed, your selfie holding your ID
They then decide whether we can verify your account. We do not use these images for marketing or advertising.
4. How long do you keep my ID and selfie, and who can see them?
For automated checks, ID and selfie images are processed in real time and are not stored longer than is technically necessary.
For manual review, we temporarily store your ID and selfie images (and any selfie holding your ID) only while your review is pending. Once your manual review is approved or rejected, we delete the images from our systems and keep only a record of the decision (for example, the outcome, date, and reviewer notes).
Access is strictly limited:
Automated checks are handled by our systems and trusted verification providers.
Manual reviews are done only by a small, trained team with appropriate access.
Your verification images are never shared with other users and are not displayed publicly.

What plans do you offer?
We currently offer tiers such as Ayanfe, Ide, Fadaka, Wura. Higher tiers unlock more features and response quotas.
What are Boosters (Booster24/Booster48)?
Short bursts that increase your profile visibility for 24 or 48 hours. And to be able to interact with higher tier
How do quotas work?
Higher tiers can like/respond more. If you hit a limit, you’ll see a message in-app. Upgrade a plan or wait for your daily reset.
Are subscriptions auto-renewed?
All plans are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew. When your access period expires, you’ll need to purchase again to continue using the features

Do you offer refunds?
None is offered at the moment.
Why does the price look different in my currency?
App stores convert pricing based on your region/taxes and may update exchange rates periodically.
How do matches work?
Find Your Match, your path to a meaningful connection is simple:
Discover: Browse through profiles and swipe right if you're interested.
Connect: A match is made the moment your interest is reciprocated.
Engage: Once you've matched, unlock a private chat to get to know each other through text, photos, and voice messages.
Can I send photos or voice notes?
Yes. Keep content respectful and follow our community guidelines.
I’m not seeing new matches. Any tips?
Update photos, complete your bio, use Boosters, and widen your search preferences (distance/age). And read more what your current plan offers in the profile view.
How do I report or block someone?
Open the conversation or profile → More → Report/Block. Reports go to our safety queue for review.
What happens after I report?
Our team reviews for guideline violations. We may warn, limit, or remove accounts to keep users safe.
Do you share my report with the other user?
No. Reports are confidential.
The app crashes or is slow.
Restart your phone, update Yetunde to the latest version, and ensure strong network. If it persists, contact support with your device model, OS version, and a short description.
I can’t log in.
Use Forgot Password or check your email/SMS for verification codes. If locked out, message support with your registered email/phone.
Do you host events?
Yes, watch our social pages and in-app announcements for Yoruba singles connect events and community activities.
Can I get support via WhatsApp or social media?
Yes. You can message us on WhatsApp Business or DM us on Instagram/Facebook. For security, we may ask you to confirm your registered email/phone or continue via in-app support.
Why haven’t I received a reply yet?
We aim to respond within: 2 hours (critical payment/verification blocks), 8 hours (high), 24 hours (general). Response times may vary on weekends/holidays.
